Our children absolutely love the Spanish Adventures Club! The engaging lessons, fun songs, and playful activities make learning Spanish exciting and memorable. Lia Andrews is amazing. She is passionate, warm, and truly gifted at connecting with young children. It’s clear she knows how to make language learning both effective and joyful! 

Our classroom absolutely adores our Ms. Lia , and it’s easy to see why. From the moment she walks into the room, she brings energy, warmth, and an incredible ability to connect with even our youngest students. Ms. Lia doesn’t just teach Spanish, she makes it come alive through music, stories, movement, and laughter.  Thank you for being a wonderful teacher and we look forward to every day we have you and Dino in our classroom.

Lia understands that young children are active learners. We LOVE when Ms. Lia and Dino come by for story times and special events at the Wilmington North Library. The children enjoy all the songs, games and the musical shakers. The energy is awesome, and I love seeing the smiles on the children and the parents' faces.

My introvert kid comes alive in Ms. Lia’s class. We love Ms. Lia’s simple but original songs, and her play-based lessons. Also doesn’t hurt that my kid thinks Dino is the funniest comedian there ever was.

Our kids loved their experience with Language University, first with Mandarin and later with Spanish. Lia made it fun and engaging for them. It amazes me that, even though she teaches at multiple schools, she knows both my kids by name when we run into her outside of school — she sure makes each kid feel special and her love for what she does shines through in the quality of her programming.

Lia was absolutely phenomenal. It was easy to see that the kids loved her. She made learning Spanish so engaging. It was a favorite subject for my daughter. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for Spanish education for your child!

Ms. Lia follows through with her promise of Spanish Fun and Adventures. Usually Oliver is quiet about what he learns in School. We have endless stories of the good times he has in this class. Makes for great dinner conversations at home. Thank you Ms Lia!

Our son had a blast working with Ms. Lia, and came home excited to share all the new words he had learned. He was also exhausted as they had done a great job to help get out their energy as well!

My child has enjoyed learning Spanish with Ms. Lia at a before school program. She comes home each week excited to teach me what she has learned and has requested to sign up for additional sessions.

My son has been participating in Language U with Ms. Lia for over a year and has loved every session at his preschool! He enjoys dancing, playing and learning new things. He also loves her pet Dino.

My son loved this program and looked forward to each session. Especially with "Encanto" being so popular now, he amazed me by being able to pick out the words and translate them from the songs. He was kept engaged, and most importantly looked at the program as a fun activity rather than a chore. Absolutely recommend this program to any parents looking for an introduction to language arts for their child.

My 2 boys (ages 5 and 6) participated in a introductory experience for the "Spanish through Fun." They had an absolute blast, as they mentioned it was "lots of games and having fun." (their words). It sounded like it was very interactive and age appropriate. As soon as they got into the car, my 6 year old immediately asked to sign up to go each week. This is a great program for kids of all ages and highly recommended.

Ms. Lia is magic! My son, Charlie, is so excited every time he knows it's 'Spanish Adventures' Day at school! His interest in language has soared since he started learning through play and music and now his little sister is joining this fall too! What a great opportunity for them both to learn together!

Language U has been a great addition to our library's program offerings for kids and families! Lia brings boundless energy to every session. The kids are laughing, dancing, and learning from beginning to end!
