This hungry caterpillar activity accompanies Language U’s Facebook LIVE spring lesson, but it can also be used independently. Students will color and then cut out foods and drinks and then paste them to either the caterpillar labeled “me gusta comer…” (I like to eat…) or “no me gusta comer…” (I don’t like to eat…). This activity is a great way for children to start expressing likes and dislikes in Spanish while also learning a variety of foods.
Complete this activity while listening to our food song on YouTube that will help your children better retain their new vocabulary!
Share a picture of your children’s activities or a picture of your children with their activities on our Facebook page! We would love to see how they did!
